Xuong Ly, Design Consultant
Xuong has worked for Curtis since 1989 and leads the design team. In that time he has had the opportunity to design a wide variety of food facilities ranging from homey neighborhood bistros to elegant dining restaurants and large chain restaurants. Other facilities include K-12 school cafeterias and university food services, culinary schools, hospitals, assisted living and retirement homes, churches and temples, country club kitchens, as well as, stadium and arena food services. Through his wide experience with commercial food facilities he understands kitchen flow, cooking processes and the details necessary to develop an efficient, well working kitchen that maximizes space. He plays an integral role in helping customers through the process of opening or remodeling their kitchens from beginning to end.
Jeremy Phifer, Design Consultant
Jeremy Phifer is a Design Consultant and has been with Curtis since 2006. He focuses on commercial kitchen design and planning for chain restaurants and unique establishments, along with health care, and education facilities. Jeremy has prior experience as a Senior Draftsman where he specialized in commercial retail design and engineering for chain grocery store and retail sales establishments. Jeremy's educational background includes architectural design; commercial, residential and computer aided drafting, working with Auto CAD, Inventor and Micro Station programs. Jeremy typically spends free time working in his garden or around the house and casually working on some classic car restorations. He also enjoys camping and outdoor activities with his family.
Jason Vandergust, Design Consultant
Jason joined the design team in the summer of 2017; drawn by the opportunity to be a partner owner in a company with a legacy for excellence in service to its customers and to the community at large. He hopes to leverage his fifteen years of experience in design and project coordination to help continue this track record. Jason's background includes the application of a wide range of design suites including AutoCAD, Inventor, ProE, and Unigraphics; most recently as a project engineer for turn-key recycling facilities and associated equipment. He is eager to throw himself into the world of creative and technical expertise required to successfully develop food service facilities.
